In this video, I provide a high-level overview of Microsoft’s current preferred development web server, IIS Express. IIS Express (currently version 7.5) combines the ease-of-use of the ASP.NET development server (Cassini) with the features and capabilities of IIS. When using IIS Express, you’ll be able to use the same configuration settings and IIS Modules in development that your webserver will use in production, but without having to configure IIS or run as an administrator.
